Dr. Robert Dugger, has built an impressive career as a board-certified psychiatrist in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Dugger's journey into the field of medicine began with his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, where he earned a B.A. in Biology and Political Science in 2006.

Driven by a desire to make a positive impact on healthcare, Dr. Dugger pursued a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy at New York Medical College, which he completed in 2008. He then went on to earn his M.D. from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in 2013.

Dr. Dugger completed his postdoctoral residency and fellowship training in New York through the Northwell Health System and the Bronx Care Health System. He was recognized as Chief Fellow in Child Psychiatry at Bronx Care, showcasing his exceptional performance and leadership skills.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dugger has held various professional positions, including serving as a research assistant at Stony Brook University School of Medicine and Columbia University. As a researcher, he focuses on medical education, U.S. health policy, and child and adolescent addiction, co-authoring several reports and presenting findings at research symposiums and conferences.

 

Dr. Dugger is fluent in English and Spanish and outside of his professional life he enjoys Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, hiking, sailing and sportfishing. With his impressive educational background, diverse clinical experience, and strong commitment to research and education, Dr. Dugger continues to make significant contributions to the field of psychiatry and the lives of his patients.
